Bay Roberts RCMP say a man has been charged after he allegedly pulled a knife on a child in Shearstown.
Police were called to New Hill Road in Shearstown around 8:40 last night.
RCMP learned from witnesses that a man approached the child, who was walking home, pulled out a knife and pointed it at the child in a threatening manner.
The child was unhurt.
The 29-year-old was arrested and charged with assault with a weapon.
He’s been released to appear in court at a later date.
