The provincial government is partnering with the Margaret and Wallace McCain Family Foundation to help evaluate the current pre-kindergarten program, develop a professional learning and curriculum program and incorporate more outdoor play.
Pre-kindergarten is a regulated full-day early learning program, with families paying the regulated child care rate of $10 a day for each child.
The program runs year-round including during the summer break.
