It’s the calm before the storm in the capital city as the Newfoundland Growlers look to make history by capturing the Kelly Cup on home ice tonight.
The city is abuzz as game 6 of the Kelly Cup Finals between the Growlers and the Toledo Walleye goes tonight as the Growler’s look to bring home the province’s first professional sports championship. The Growlers hold a 3-2 series lead after three games in Ohio.
Mile One is sold out for the game, and fans are encouraged to bring that noise and excitement to Tuesday’s Game 6 for what they are calling the “Biggest Kitchen Party” the ECHL has ever seen.
Those in attendance are encouraged to bring along their ugly sticks, horns & cowbells to cheer on the team.
