A 14-year-old girl who has been fighting Hodgkins Lymphoma always wanted a Maltipoo puppy, and today she got to meet her new best friend at the St. John’s International Airport.
This is the fifth puppy wish that Children’s Wish Foundation Newfoundland and Labrador has granted.

Rebecca Wiseman and her family, of St. Anthony, greeted the three pounds of fluff at the arrival gates. Her face lit up when she met the Maltese-poodle mix puppy.
Wiseman was diagnosed on Christmas Eve and got to ring the bell yesterday, marking her last treatment.
She says this wish means so much to whole family. She had wanted a puppy for a long time and is already planning for when she gets Marley home. She says she is training her right away.
Wiseman’s brother says he knew Rebecca would get through the treatments and Marley is a great way to celebrate.
The family is leaving St. John’s this afternoon to bring their new family member home
