The deadline for the St. John’s Public Libraries Board’s design contest is tomorrow.
The Once and Future Library design contest is part of a campaign launched by the board to gather ideas and collect input on the future of public libraries in the capital city.
Winners of the design contest will be announced on Friday, March 6th, the 200th anniversary of the founding of the St. John’s Library Society.
It occurred at a public meeting on March 6th. 1820 at the Freemason’s Tavern where a public reading room was established.
Designs can be emailed to info@onceandfuturelibrary.ca or can be dropped off at the circulation desk of the A.C. Hunter Library.
