The Liberal Leadership candidates are both looking to make connections in communities across the province as August 3 approaches.
John Abbott says he intends to visit all 40 districts before the vote. Starting today, he heads out to speak to community leaders about their concerns.
Abbott plans to share his itinerary on his website and social media accounts.
Meanwhile, Andrew Furey has attended some virtual events this week.
Furey was invited to listen to concerns of community leaders through an online discussion hosted through Municipalities NL.
He also spoke with NL Federation of Labour president Mary Shortall on issues facing the province.
A great chat today with Mary Shortall, President of the @NLFL_labour, about the issues facing our province. As we rebuild the economy, listening to the concerns of workers and finding solutions will be key to success. #Furey2020 pic.twitter.com/hNE2rsBhEV
