The family of Cortney Lake say they have been made aware of so-called spirit box or ghost box videos claiming to communicate with their loved one.

It’s been just over three years since Cortney Lake was last seen getting into a pickup truck in Mount Pearl.

Police believe Lake was murdered. Her remains have never been found.

Lake’s aunt, Glenda Power, took to the Help Us Find Cortney! Facebook page indicating they do not endorse, nor do they have any involvement in the “ghost box” activity.

They ask anyone who feels they have information related to the case to contact the RNC.
