A 45-year-old man is facing a list of charges after what was a relatively quiet night for police in the Metro area.
RNC on the Northeast Avalon only had one notable call for service on Monday and overnight.
At 8:15 p.m., police were called to a collision in the east end of St. John’s, possibly involving an impaired driver.
With help from witnesses, police located the 45-year-old man a short distance away where he was arrested for impaired driving, refusal, failure to remain at the scene of an accident, uttering threats and breach of a court order.
He was held for court, and his vehicle was impounded.
