A 21-year-old Corner Brook man was ticketed by police for travelling nearly 170 km/h on the Trans Canada.
RCMP say an officer, set for speed enforcement last Friday, noticed a vehicle speeding and passing other drivers near Pasadena.
The officer obtained a radar reading of 169 km/h and the car was pulled over.
The driver was ticketed, his licence was suspended and his car was seized and impounded.
