Former Mount Pearl CAO Steve Kent is calling on the city to release the details on the investigator appointed to probe into allegations leveled against Mayor Dave Aker by former councilor Andrea Power.

Power accused the mayor of violations of the city’s respectful workplace policy as she was dismissed along with Andrew Ledwell for conflict of interest.

Kent wants the city to confirm that it has hired an independent investigator to look into those allegations.

The city council is meeting today.
