There is little information yet available about an incident that occurred near the capital city’s downtown early this morning, but police say there is no concern for public safety.
About eight police cars and an ambulance converged on the scene on Cook Street.
The door to a home was open and debris was strewn across the road.

A section of the street, from Scott Street to Merrymeeting Road, has been cordoned off.
