Provincial permits to burn are once again being issued for open fires.
The permits were temporarily suspended earlier this year due to COVID-19.
Permits can now be obtained for the rest of the season to burn grass, brush and other material.
Permits are not required for recreational campfires, backyard fires and boil ups; however, they must be conducted in accordance with the province’s forest fire regulations.
