The minister of infrastructure is hopeful that the elevators at St. Clare’s hospital will be back up and running soon.

Two of three elevators at the hospital have been out of commission for an extended period of time.

Minister Barry Petten says the repairs are under the purview of the health authority.

“There’s a shortage of elevator repair people in this province; we all know that’s a problem” says Petten.  “I think they’re dealing with it and hopefully we’ll have it fixed soon.”
