An alert neighbour played a key role in the arrest of two people breaking into a shed.
The person heard a loud noise in the area in the wee hours this morning, then saw two males leaving the shed with stolen property. They left in a vehicle but the RNC caught up with them on Elizabeth Street.
A 24-year-old man from Corner Brook and 25-year-old from Pasadena face charges of break, enter and theft while a 22-year-old woman from Massey Drive (the registered owner of the vehicle in question) was ticketed for allowing an unlicensed driver to drive. The vehicle was impounded for 30 days.
All stolen property was recovered and returned to the owner. The two men will appear in court in October.
