Metro police are warning the public following a number of vehicle thefts in the region.

RNC say they are working through all of the complaints, and are encouraging members of the public to take precautions to reduce “crimes of opportunity.”

These include keeping your vehicle locked, storing your keys out of sight and out of reach, keeping some lights on in your home and locking your doors while away.
