Ferry crossings in the gulf for tonight and tomorrow morning have been cancelled because of high winds.
Winds will pick up throughout the day for most areas, including metro. The Port aux Basques area gets the highest winds, up around 100.
Temperatures today are in the mid-teens but they fall significantly tomorrow into single digits for most areas.
Spencer Clements, a meteorologist with Environment Canada in Dartmouth, says it will feel quite chilly tomorrow.
He says winds in the east and central will be in the 50-60 km/h range for the most part but with gusts to 80 km/h in some areas, particularly tonight and tomorrow morning.
