The Thanksgiving long weekend is upon us, and the province’s health minister is cautioning against anyone who may be thinking of bending the rules to be with family.
John Haggie says there is no “risk-free scenario,” just one where the risk is managed.
He says staying home while sick is the best way to do that, and that to truly be effective we must be honest with our families and ourselves this weekend.
Haggie says we may dismiss symptoms due to being excited about an event, but that may be ill-advised.
