Four people have been charged in connection with a hit and run incident that seriously injured a man in Sheshatshiu back in April.

A man was found lying on Beach Road in the community in the early morning hours of April 23.

RCMP say Rachelle Rich has been charged with failure to remain at the scene of a collision, public mischief, and various offences under the Highway Traffic Act.

Three other people have each been charged with public mischief in connection with the information they provided to police during the course of the investigation.

Investigation Continues Into Fatal Hit and Run

Meanwhile, RCMP are continuing a separate investigation into a fatal hit and run that occurred outside Happy Valley-Goose Bay in August.

A 26-year-old old Sheshatshiu man was killed in that incident.
