The Newfoundland and Labrador Liquor Corporation has unveiled it’s newest production line in partnership with Corby Spirit and Wine.
The agreement will enable the production of Lamb’s Sociables at the NLC’s Kenmount Road production facility—Rock Spirits.
The new factory line is equipped to take the empty cans, fill them, attach the lids, and package them in about half a minute.

NLC President and CEO Bruce Keating says the overall cost of the new production line was around $500,000.
Despite challenges caused by the pandemic, he says they were able to get the new production line up and running. Keating says it was critical that they did so by August.
There are currently 45 people employed at Rock Spirits. Keating says the new line will open up new jobs, with the immediate creation of two new positions, and the potential for more in the future.
