Provincial health officials reported another new case of COVID-19 in Newfoundland and Labrador on Sunday.
It’s the third new case in the last four days.
The latest confirmed case involves a man in his 60s who flew to the province from Ontario last week under a travel exemption. Officials say he is not a resident of this province and has been self-isolating since his arrival.
As a precaution, anyone who travelled on Air Canada Flight 7484 from Toronto to Deer Lake on Tuesday, October 20 is urged to call 811 to arrange for COVID-19 testing. Close contacts are also advised to quarantine.
There are now 11 active cases of COVID-19 in the province.
To date, 275 people have recovered from the virus and there have been four deaths.
