Councillors in CBS will vote today on the Terms of Reference surrounding a controversial development proposal for an industrial complex by Ocean Choice International
OCI is proposing to build a wharf and cold storage facility in the Long Pond area.
The initial proposal, which called for the development of new land in Conception Bay, was met with public pushback.
OCI has since modified its proposal after it was rejected by Transport Canada.
The town’s Planning and Development Committee will bring forward a recommendation today to approve final Terms of Reference so that Ocean Choice can proceed with answers to public questions and concerns through a Land Use Impact Assessment Report.
