There were no injuries, but a man had to escape through a window during a house fire on Bell Island yesterday.
Crews were first called to the two-storey home around 3 a.m. on Monday.
The man is staying with a neighbour for the time being and is being assisted by the Canadian Red Cross with items such as food, clothing and other essentials.
Bell Island RCMP is conducting an investigation into the blaze.
