Metro police picked up two impaired drivers over the last 12 hours or so.
A tip from the public led to the arrest of a 21-year-old woman in the area of Allandale Road at about 8:20 p.m. She was charged with driving impaired by drug.
Later last night, the RNC stopped a 48-year-old man on Peacekeepers Way in Conception Bay South. He was charged with drunk driving.
In both cases, the accused were released for a later court appearance, and the vehicles impounded.
