There is an ongoing police presence in Cowan Heights at this hour.

A vehicle is in a ditch just west of the Blackmarsh Road roundabout, emergency crew are on scene and have a portion of the road blocked off.

RNC say a potentially impaired driver has fled the scene and RNC police dogs are in the area looking for the person.

Police cruisers can be seen driving, with their sirens on and lights flashing, driving up and down Frecker Drive and the surrounding neighbourhood.
