The pandemic has resulted in a steady stream of worrying news, but not all the impacts have been negative.
Some businesses have been thriving and doing what they can to give back where there’s a need.
Sarah Deer is a franchise owner with Mark’s Work Warehouse. She says when the pandemic first struck, they were shut down completely, which caused a problem, especially for health care workers who relied on them for scrubs.
They ended up donating 1450 scrub tops and bottoms to health care workers.
They got a crew of staff at each store location together and gathered approximately $30,000 worth of uniforms for donation to the Health Care Foundation.
