There was a presentation today to the RNC from a young Paradise boy who took on a successful fundraising campaign for a four-legged Constabulary member.
Justin Sharpe with 1st Paradise Scouting launched the campaign last month to raise funds for a protective vest for Gunner, a member of the RNC’s K-9 unit.

He chose to help Gunner for his Chief Scouts Award and he and his fellow troupe members held a charity hike-a-thon to raise the needed funds for the vest.
Constable Bill Kennedy says the vest offers important protection to the dog. It could mean the difference between life and death because it’s both slash and bullet proof, according to Kennedy.
