One of the businesses affected by the COVID-19 cluster announced yesterday is set to reopen its doors today.
In a message posted on Instagram, Sam Design owner Susan Drover says they first learned of a COVID exposure in their workplace on Wednesday. They closed their doors immediately and contacted public health.
It has since been deemed that Sam Design is not considered to be a public health threat, and after a deep cleaning this morning, their office on Freshwater Road will reopen this afternoon.
According to the post, some staff are taking “extra precautions” and will not be in the office for two weeks.
Drover emphasizes that COVID is “potentially one phone call away,” and stresses the importance of taking extra precautions to keep yourself safe.
