NAPE has launched a province-wide ad campaign that highlights the contribution of front-line public sector workers called “We Call Them Heroes.”
The Premier’s Economic Recovery Team, chaired by Moya Greene is expected to deliver its interim report by the end of the month with recommendations on making government more efficient.
NAPE President Jerry Earle says he has not been comforted by what he’s been hearing to-date.
What NAPE heard from Greene back in December was concerning says Earle. He calls Federation of Labour President Mary Shortall’s departure from the committee earlier this year a “clear red flag.” That, combined with what Earle calls Greene’s track record, is very concerning for public service workers.
