Labrador Marine ferry service to the north coast of Labrador is scheduled to start June 13.

The ferry the Kamutik W is scheduled to arrive in Goose Bay this evening in preparation for the upcoming Labrador coastal summer service.

The vessel was recently sent to the Fogo Island-Change Islands run as a backup to the Legionnaire which was down for repairs.

Labrador Marine says the passenger reservation system will open at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, May 25 while the Goose Bay terminal will begin accepting freight at 8 a.m. on Monday, June 7.

The southern run to Rigolet, Cartwright, and Black Tickle is scheduled to begin from Goose Bay on June 25.
