A Stephenville man has been arrested today in connection with a series of recent break-ins into schools.
Stephenville Primary and Stephenville Elementary were broken into a number of times over the last year, once in July of 2020 and three times in May of 2021.
Michael David Budden of Stephenville was arrested on June 8 and charged with three counts of break, enter and theft, two counts of break and enter with intent, and one count of mischief.
A number of ipads stolen from the elementary school in May were recovered with the help of Police Service Dog, Axel.
Thirty-one-year-old Budden been released to appear in court in August.
