A man is dead after a collision with a tractor-trailer on the Bay d’Espoir Highway Friday evening.
At around 4:30 p.m., RCMP responded to a collision between a tractor-trailer and an SUV, with both vehicles leaving the road.
The 67-year-old man driving the SUV died at the scene, and the passenger was sent to hospital with minor injuries. The lone occupant of the transport truck was uninjured.
Police say seatbelts were worn in both vehicles and alcohol was not a factor. The investigation continues.
