The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary is on the lookout for a suspect following an attempted armed robbery in St. John’s.
Shortly before 6:00 p.m. yesterday, police responded to a report of an attempted armed robbery in the city centre.
A single male suspect fled the scene before police could arrive. The weapon was retrieved by officers at the scene. No further details of the suspect have been released at this time.
