The Baie Verte Peninsula Health Centre will be short on doctors for two and a half weeks beginning today.
To try to offset this, a virtual ER will be offered between 8 p.m. and 8 a.m. to those presenting to the clinic.
Emergency, acute care, and medical clinic services, as well as lab and imaging services, will continue to be offered at the facility. Nursing, physiotherapy, dietitian, and diabetes care will also continue.
