The St. John’s Capitals are back on top in senior “A” men’s baseball after a hard-fought victory over Mount Pearl. The Blazers won the opener Friday night but the Caps then reeled off three straight by scores of 12-1, 4-3, and 3-2.
Dylan MacKenzie of St. John’s was the top batter and MVP while Aaron Peach of Mount Pearl was the top pitcher.
St. John’s will now represent Newfoundland and Labrador at the Canadian Senior Men’s Championship.
