The Town of Pouch Cove is under a boil water advisory.

The filtration and chlorination systems are being bypassed due to operational issues at the town’s water treatment plant.

The town says water will be discoloured and unchlorinated, and they are asking residents to refrain from drinking the water at this time.

The boil water advisory will remain in place until further update from the town.
