Another big milestone in the return to normalcy today as Canada reopens its borders to fully vaccinated Americans without isolation requirements.
It’s the first time non-essential travel will be permitted into Canada from the US since March of 2020.
As of today, fully-vaccinated American citizens and permanent US residents can travel to Canada without having to self-isolate on arrival.
The three-night hotel stopover requirement has also been lifted.
Meanwhile, the Canadian border will open to fully vaccinated travelers from other countries beginning September 7.
