A man who pleaded guilty to the second-degree murder of Victoria Head nearly four years ago has been sentenced to ten years in prison before he’s eligible for parole.
Steven Bragg was sentenced in Supreme Court in St. John’s this afternoon.
The 36-year-old woman’s body was discovered in a wooded area off Mount Scio Road on the morning of November 11th, 2017.
The sentence is the minimum allowed by law.
The victim’s family members were disappointed with the sentencing, hoping for more jail time for Bragg.
