A 48-year-old Corner Brook man is facing weapons charges in connection with a disturbance in Corner Brook on the weekend.

RNC received a report on Monday regarding an alleged weapons offence in the West Street area of Corner Brook on the weekend.

A 48-year-old Corner Brook man was arrested and charged with assault with a weapon, forcible confinement, pointing a firearm, careless use of a firearm, carrying a concealed weapon, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and a list of other charges.

The accused was held to appear in court.
