Motorists in Newfoundland and Labrador have less than a week to have studded tires removed from their vehicles.

This year’s cut-off date to have studded tires removed falls on Tuesday, May 31.

Studded tire usage is usually only permitted between November 1 and April 30. The extension of an extra month was given due to poor weather conditions this year.
