The Nunatsiavut Government has announced the election of Melva Williams as First Minister for the Nunatsiavut Government. Tony Andersen will serve as the Minister of Education and Economic Development.
The two ministers were sworn in this week during a sitting of the Nunatsiavut Assembly in Hopedale.
Williams will assume the role of First Minister on an interim basis to fill the position from which Tony Andersen recently resigned.
