Swimming pool hours at the Mews Centre in St. John’s are being cut because of a shortage of lifeguards.
The pool will close to the public at 1 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays starting tomorrow. The steam room and sauna will not be available during the closed times.
Staff are working to recruit lifeguard staff as soon as possible.
The pool schedule will be reviewed every two weeks until staffing levels have returned to normal.
Meanwhile, the Paul Reynolds Centre has reopened following the completion of repairs.
