Come Home Year celebrations are underway on the Great Northern Peninsula this weekend.
Municipal Affairs Minister Krista Lynn Howell recently joined the Englee Town Council to kick off the events.
Englee, Roddickton-Bide Arm, Port Saunders, Port aux Choix, and other communities on the Northern Peninsula have all availed of the Municipal Come Home Year Celebration Grant.
Overall funding for the grant has been increased from $250,000 to $355,000 due to the high level of interest.
