A driver has had their vehicle seized after police caught them going 64 km/hour over the posted speed limit in Mount Pearl.
Police noticed the vehicle shortly after 10:30 last night.
They say the speed limit in the area is 50 km/h, meaning the vehicle was speeding at 114 km/h at the time.
In addition to having their vehicle taken, the driver was issued a ticket for the offence.
