RCMP nabbed two suspected drunk drivers over the weekend.
On Saturday evening, police pulled a car over on the Main Road in Harbour Round near La Scie, where the 63-year-old driver showed signs of impairment. He refused to provide breath samples and was charged. His vehicle was impounded.
On Sunday, police were tipped off about a suspected drunk driver in Hopedale. Police hauled the vehicle over, where they found a 26-year-old driving without a licence. She was suspended from driving for 90 days and her vehicle was also seized.
