A sad end to the search for a missing person in the Gander area.

RCMP confirm that Brandon Tucker, who was last seen leaving his house on foot on July 8 has been found deceased.

His remains were found in the woods between Gander Lake and the Trans Canada Highway.

The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner was engaged and confirms the remains were Tucker. Foul play is not suspected.
