A Newfoundland musical is returning for a special occasion.

“No Change in the Weather”, which toured Canada in 2019, is coming to the Turning the Tide Marine Industry Awards Gala.

The plot is built around the death of family matriarch Peggy O’Brien. Her family sneak her corpse out of the funeral home and back across the water to her family home on the unsettled island of God’s Back Pocket.

The awards are taking place on September 22nd at the St. John’s Convention Centre.
