Two people were killed in separate motorcycle mishaps in the province over the past few days.
The first occurred early Friday afternoon near Little Rapids on the Trans-Canada Highway.
Police say a 53-year-old man from Pasadena was found dead at the scene, adding that while the victim was wearing a helmet, it came off during the crash.
The second incident happened Saturday evening on Route 510, a few kilometres north of Mary’s Harbour in southern Labrador.
RCMP say a 58-year-old man from Quebec died at the scene, and was also wearing a helmet that came off during the crash.
Investigators are examining what role speed may have played in both fatalities.
Police are also reminding riders to make sure helmets fit and are on properly, and to also obey the speed limit.
