The RCMP are investigating after a 200-pound safe was stolen from a business in Pound Cove.
Police received a report earlier today of a break and enter at Notre Dame Building Supplies in the town.
The safe, containing an undisclosed amount of cash, is believed to have been stolen sometime over the weekend.
Police are asking anyone with information to contact them (at 639-2419) or Crime Stoppers.
