A local investment analyst is expressing great optimism over the province’s hydrogen potential.
A number of major projects are in the works on the province’s southwest coast to help fill Germany’s hydrogen energy needs as the country works to move away from its reliance on Russian oil.
Short has never been so optimistic about the future of the province as he has been in the last year.
He says the province squandered its oil and gas revenue, and Muskrat Falls was mishandled, but “here we’ve been given another opportunity.” Making a baseball analogy, Short says “we’re a batter and this beautiful, slow pitch is coming right over the plate, we just have to have…the ability to hit this properly.”
