A three-month, cross-country bicycle journey from Victoria, BC wraps up in St. John’s today.
Steve Iseman, Jim Redmond, Mike Loghrin and Darlene Richards-Loghrin, are a group of people with Parkinson’s Disease and their supporters who are fighting against the degenerative disease.
Iseman and Redmond and their support team have been cycling across the country raising awareness about the benefits of exercise in helping to alleviate the symptoms of Parkinson’s and aligning with local support networks.
Funds are also being collected for the Passion for Parkinson’s Foundation, a registered charity that provides free exercise and arts programs for people with Parkinson’s.
The group will wrap up its tour in the capital city later this afternoon.
